WARNING: Burn within sight. Keep away from things that catch fire. Keep away from children and pets—they don't appreciate luxury anyway.
- Do Not Be Basic: Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before every single light. If you let it smoke, you’re doing it wrong.
- Commit to the Burn: Leave lit until the wax pool reaches the glass edge on the first burn. Tunneling is for cheap candles, and we know you aren't cheap.
- Know Your Limits: Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time. All good things must come to an end, even your isolation.
- Extinguish with Style: Smother the flame gently or use a snuffer. Blowing violently like it's a birthday cake is entirely uncouth.
- The Bitter End: Discard when only 1/2 inch of wax remains. Do not try to scrape the bottom; accept that it’s over and buy another one.
